Lunch Sanpo Editorial Verification & Feedback Center

1. How to Report Price Updates, Closures, or New Lunch Spots

"Lunch Sanpo" maintains an accurate, up-to-date database of sub-1,000 yen lunches across Tokyo and Kanagawa thanks to ongoing field checks and reports from local office workers, students, and travelers. If you visit a listed restaurant and notice a change—such as a price increase above 1,000 yen (tax included), discontinuation of lunch service, store closure or relocation, updated lunch hours, or changes to free rice/soup refill perks—please let us know using the "Report (Flag)" button inside any restaurant detail modal or on this page.

We also gladly accept recommendations for hidden sub-1,000 yen teishoku diners, 500-yen one-coin lunches, and local eateries across Tokyo and Kanagawa that are not yet featured in our directory.

2. Our 3-Step Editorial Verification Workflow

Every community submission goes through a structured 3-step verification process before updating our live production database:

  • Step 1 (Instant Submission Receipt): Reports submitted via our web form are delivered in real time to our editorial review channel.
  • Step 2 (Cross-Verification): Our editors cross-check the reported information against current physical ticket machine (Kenbaiki) prices, storefront menu boards, official restaurant announcements, and recent field logs.
  • Step 3 (Database Update within 24–48 Hours): Confirmed updates are published within 24 to 48 business hours. If a restaurant's signature lunch has risen above our strict 1,000-yen tax-included ceiling, it is promptly removed from the directory to protect user trust.
